The Rangers are the team behind Backyard Wildstream. They help maintain the garden, clean feeders, monitor wildlife activity, and ensure the environment remains safe, healthy, and welcoming for visiting animals.
The project began with a single bird feeder and a growing fascination with the wildlife visiting the garden. Over time, additional feeders, wildlife-friendly planting, and live cameras were added to create a peaceful place where people can connect with nature from anywhere.
At times, portions of the livestream may be archived or clipped for highlights, but the main experience is designed to be watched live as nature happens.

The best support is simply watching, sharing the stream, and being part of the community.
We also have a support page where you can make a financial contribution to help with the upkeep, feed and enhancements of the the stream.
We aim to keep all equipment as unobtrusive as possible. Cameras are positioned carefully, and the environment is designed around the wellbeing and natural behaviour of the wildlife first.
